What a reverse lookup can and cannot tell you in Canada
Canada has no public register mapping phone numbers to names. Any service promising a subscriber's identity for a fee is selling you something it cannot legally deliver for most numbers, which is why NumberCheck is free and evidence-based instead.
What is genuinely knowable is more useful than a name anyway: the number's format and range, which province the area code belongs to, whether it is a toll-free or premium service line, how many Canadians have reported it, what they said the caller claimed, and how recently the activity happened.

How to read the result
Volume and consistency beat intensity. Ten reports describing the same opening line is strong evidence of a dialler campaign; one furious comment about a rude courier is not. Check dates too — numbers are recycled between businesses, so last week matters more than three years ago.
An empty page is not a clean bill of health. It usually means the number is new to the campaign, or that you are the first person to look it up. That is the moment your report is worth the most.
